- Storage: Encrypted and stored in our secure cloud database
3. Screenshots and Captures (Chrome Extension)
- What: Screenshots of areas you select on web pages, along with the source URL and page title
- Why: To help you collect and organize wedding inspiration
- Storage: Uploaded to your HitchBound account's secure storage
4. AI-Extracted Information
- What: When analyzing your captures, our AI may extract visible content like vendor contact information
- Why: To auto-populate vendor records and reduce manual data entry
- Storage: Stored in your HitchBound account
5. Chat Conversations
- What: Messages you send to our AI wedding planner
- Why: To provide personalized planning assistance
- Storage: Associated with your wedding and stored securely
Information We Do NOT Collect
- We do NOT collect your browsing history
- We do NOT track pages you visit (only pages where you actively make captures)
- We do NOT sell or share your data with third parties for advertising
- We do NOT store payment information (handled by our payment processor)
How We Use Your Information
- Provide the Service: Store and organize your wedding planning data
- AI Assistance: Power the AI wedding planner with context about your wedding
- Improve the Service: Analyze usage patterns (aggregated, non-personal data only)
- Communication: Send important updates about your account or service
Data Storage and Security
- Cloud Provider: We use Supabase (hosted on AWS) for secure data storage
- Encryption: All data is transmitted over HTTPS and encrypted at rest
- Access Control: Your data is only accessible to you and anyone you explicitly share your wedding with
- Data Isolation: Each user's data is isolated and protected

- Export: Request a copy of your data
- Opt-out: Uninstall the extension or delete your account at any time
